Please note that this is NOT A STAND ALONE APP. It’s a keyboard skin. To use this keyboard skin you must have already installed one of the above compatible keyboard apps. From within the compatible keyboard app, navigate to the keyboard theme or skin section of the keyboard app and select this keyboard skin.
A lot of hard work went into designing this skin. This skin was made using high resolution HD photos of wood digitally altered to produce a virtual keyboard with the beauty of natural wood.
Scrabble fans might be interested in knowing that a friend of mine noticed that the keyboard key images which were made from photos of wood tiles sort of resemble the letter tiles found in the Scrabble board game. Because Go Keyboard allows you to set the key height, when my friend set them to nearly square, the word tile keys looked very similar to Scrabble tile game pieces, even though they actually are not Scrabble tile pieces.
Of all the keyboard skins I’ve made, this is my personal favorite. The beauty of the real wooden tiles, and real wood background images used in this skin give it a beauty only nature can create. The arc menu is especially stunning with the golden trim on the wooden planks, and the realistic shadow. The two types of wood used and the golden trim produces an elegant touch, that’s still firmly ground in nature.
Please note that the Go Keyboard skin format this skin uses is unfortunately not supported by most other keyboard apps. For this reason I also offer a separate version of this product in the "Better Keyboard" skin format called “Word Tiles Keyboard Skin” which is supported by several keyboard apps including the following:
